Highlights

The municipalities of Courrendlin, Courroux and Val-Terbi are nestled in a green environment. They offer a real paradise for soft mobility. For a walk, by bike, by mountain bike, on horseback, there are plenty of paths and magnificent views. Activities such as the Casino (Courrendlin), the Jumping Jack (trampoline park in Courroux) or the ruins of a Roman villa (Vicques) can be reached on foot in less than 15 minutes.

Nature

The Canton of Jura is a heaven of rest and tranquility, where nature and people always lived together in harmony, and where you will be able to experience profound moments of recuperation. Discover the Parc du Doubs which extends over more than 300 km2 of vast nature landscapes and follow the majestic Doubs river crosses from east to west at the bottom of the valley. Horses

Welcome to the horse country! Whether you want to set off to explore the many kilometres of horse-riding trails with your own horse or participate in a leisure activity giving you the chance to experience this fabulous creature, a wide range of options await you: accompanied rides, trekking, carriage or horse-drawn cart rides, as well as horse wagon rides for gourmets!

The Jura region is the birthplace of the Franches-Montagnes horse: native to the high plateau of the Franches Montagnes. The Franches-Montagnes is the only indigenous Swiss horse breed. Come and discover the Franches-Montagnes horse during a guided tour or observe these beautiful animals which graze pacefully in partial freedom in their natural environment thanks to an interactive map. Watches

Watchmaking is a very important industry in the area. Visit a watch factory or try to produce your own mechanical watch with personalized components during a half or entire day.

Different museums open their doors to let you discover the history of Jurassic Watchmaking. You will be able to enter in the universe of the first watchmakers of the region at the museum Espace Paysan-Horloger in Le Boéchet or visit the first museum dedicated to the wathcases in Le Noirmont.

In Porrentruy, our guides invite you to explore the town of Prince-Bishops and its important watchmaking heritage. Town and Heritage

The region invites you to discover our small and welcoming towns full of charm and character. Delémont, the capital of the canton Jura will lead you between present and past. The historic part of town presents a large number of outstanding building such as the castle or the magnificent Jura Museum of art and history which traces the most important events in the canton. The center of town spreads around the train station, colorful and lively all year round with numerous cultural events, and many cafés and restaurants.

Discover the rich past of Porrentruy with its watchmaking heritage, its religious history and its hidden places. The castle and the old town, the Hôtel-Dieu Museum, Jurassica Museum, O Vergers d’Ajoie (swiss fruits and distillery museum) worth the visit.

Take a trip to the 8th century and visit the medieval town of St-Ursanne and its treasures such as the collegiate church and its monastery. You will probably understand why the place is also called the «pearl» oft he Jura and why St-Ursanne appeared among the finalists of the contest of the most beautiful village in Switzerland.
